The cases recorded during June 2026 reveal a deeply concerning pattern of state repression, arbitrary detentions, physical and psychological torture, and unlawful executions carried out by Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies. These abuses underscore a continuing climate of impunity, fear, and systemic injustice across the region.
During this month, a total of 63 cases of enforced disappearances were documented, reflecting the ongoing and widespread targeting of civilians, students, and workers. Families continue to face profound psychological trauma and uncertainty as their loved ones are taken beyond the reach of judicial oversight. Furthermore, 77 confirmed cases of extrajudicial killings were recorded in June, highlighting the lethal consequences of unchecked state power and the complete breakdown of due process. These findings reflect the rapidly deteriorating human rights situation in Balochistan. They point to an urgent, undeniable need for independent international investigations, robust accountability mechanisms, and continuous global monitoring to protect vulnerable communities and bring an end to these grave violations.
