Paank strongly condemns the enforced disappearance of Zakir Noor, son of Noor Muhammad, a student belonging to the Panjgur district of Balochistan. He was reportedly abducted by Pakistani state military personnel in Karachi on December 30, 2025.

According to information received by Paank, Zakir Noor was unlawfully detained without any warrant, legal justification, or due process. His whereabouts remain unknown, placing his life at serious risk. Such actions constitute a grave violation of fundamental human rights, including protection from arbitrary detention and enforced disappearance under international law.

Paank expresses deep concern over the continued pattern of enforced disappearances targeting Baloch students and youth across Pakistan, particularly in urban centers like Karachi.

Paank holds the Pakistani state and its security institutions accountable for Zakir Noorโ€™s safety and demands his immediate and unconditional release.
